David Schrader - Soprano Saxophone

David Schrader (soprano) was born in North Tonawanda, New York, and raised in the San Joaquin Valley of central California. He holds a B.M. degree from the University of Arizona, and studied composition with Robert Muczynski, conducting with John Bloom and saxophone with Paris Conservatory-trained Elizabeth Thompson-Ervin. One of the founders of the San Francisco Saxophone Quarter, Mr. Schrader has composed works for choregrapher Ellen Bromberg, the Henry Harris Green Dance Company and the San Jose Repertory Theatre.
