David Henderson - Tenor Saxophone and Keyboards

David Henderson (tenor)
was born and raised in Hartford City, Indiana.
He has degrees from the University of Michigan and the Juilliard School,
and a first prize in saxophone from the Conservatoire de Bordeaux, where
he studied on a Fulbright-ITT grant. His saxophone teachers included
William Fread, Larry Teal, Donald Sinta, Joe Allard and Jean-Marie Londeix.
In 1980 Mr. Henderson gave his Carnegie Recital Hall solo debut. He has
performed with the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Opera, plays
regularly with the New World Symphony in Miami, and is on the faculty of
Dominican College in San Rafael, California.
